Summer residence
You need a space to create this summer? You have a choreographic project in-process? Fleur d’asphalte invites you to submit your project for its summer residence call. Projects must be articulated, original and professional.

Studio hours will be offered to selected artists according to their needs, from JUne 15th to August 4th 2012. Artists might be available to present an excerpt at the Mi-Lune Performance, August 4th 2012.

This workshop is build to prepare the body to receive, take and transfer weight, through techniques and exercises of contemporary dance, also in close relationship to the floor.
First part will consist in improvisational exercises to deepen our conscientiousness of the floor.

SUNDAY JUNE 3rd, 2012, from 9 am to 12 pm
A workshop where we will play with different kinds of balls. We will work our cardio, our muscles and proprioception. Using toning exercises combined with proper breathing we will strengthen both our center and our limbs. We will also learn to use the breathing and the balls to release tense muscles. It will allow us to feel better in our bodies and become a better mover or dancer! A fun way to train and relax accompagned by an excellent soundtrack.

Summer Yoga Workshop with Lily Lapierre

Come to begin the summer and the holidays in beauty with an extensive workshop in yoga. Come to take time to deepen and to put your awareness on the fellings in your "asanas" (postures) to grant your body and your spirit at the present moment. Allow to unwind and to refocus for the summer season by "pranayamma" (the breaths of the yoga) and the yoga nidra. A present for yourself or to be offered.
