David Flewelling

After receiving his BA from the School of Contemporary Arts from Simon Fraser University, David has been teaching, choreographing and performing across North America. In addition to studying under, David has danced contact-Improv for Peter Bingham, Allen and Karen Kaeja, Andrew Harwood and with Raymond Chung. He has received grants of the Canada Council for the Arts and BC Arts Council for the development of his work in contact-improv. After 10 years of creating on the West Coast, David moved to Montreal where he now calls home. David has been seen with companies across Canada, touring North America with companies such as La Fondation Jean-Pierre Perrault, The Holy Body Tattoo, Emmanuel Jouthe and others. He is currently deepening his knowledge of yoga with internationally recognized master teacher Hart Lazer.
