Elise Hardy, modern dancer by training, graduated with an MA in dance at the University of Paris VIII and a Diploma of Specialized Higher Studies in Somatic Education (profile Feldenkrais) at UQAM. Her experiences teaching in schools and specialized institutions and training in somatic education allowed her to develop an approach to movement adapted to individual needs. She specializes in teaching dance for people with autism, intellectual disabilities and mental and physical disabilities.She also teaches improvisational dance and somatic education to the general public, children and youth in schools. Elise still keeps a foot in research and development through its participation as a choreographer, performer and assistant director for various projects and performative dance in public. She is also involved in the activities of the Peristyle Nomade, company creation and diffusion of urban art, where she worked as artistic coordinator, project manager and artist choreography.
