Robin Gorn

Poet, Singer and Songwriter, Robin Gorn has been performing and teaching for the past 18 years. She has studied vocal improvisation with Rhiannon (from Voicestra with Bobby McFerrin) and with the great jazz/bebop singer Sheila Jordan. She has also studied Shakespeare with Kate Bligh. Her studies and teaching technique are about integration of body, mind, and spirit. She draws on traditions from all over the world.
Robin has a background in African dance, Yoga, and is studying Chi Kung. In addition to her poetry and songwriting her repertory includes, latin, samba, tango, reggae, folk, jazz, classical, spoken word, country and r&b. She has recently returned from studying and performing in Brazil.
