Warwick Long

Warwick Long has over 20 years of practical experience teaching movement with diverse populations (children, professional dancers, athletes and the elderly). He holds a masters degree in physical education and is a certified Feldenkrais Practitioner. Warwick’s teaching practice integrates the individual needs of each person to develop a sense of efficiency and balance in their movement. Warwick presently teaches the Feldenkrais Method Contemporary Dance Technique and anatomy for the moving body on the dance programs at Concordia University and the Université du Québec à Montréal. With an international profile of teaching somatic education in the university and professional arts milieus, Warwick has taught in Australia, Brazil, Canada England, Europe, New Zealand and the USA. As well as maintaining a private practice in Montreal, Warwick is a regular teacher at the Feldenkrais Centre in Geneva and is currently pursuing studies in osteopathy at the Centre Ostéopathique du Québec.
